how often should you contact someone between dates

    women are terrific yet complex , early stages of dating need to be managed correctly

    I had a date with a girl I like yesterday and it went well , were keen to see each other again and I plan to bring her to the cinema this time , wondering how often I should text her in between the first and second date however , is one day after the first date to soon to say a quick hi via text

    btw , I met this girl online so that's why I ask , different to conventional dating in that I only met her for the first time yesterday so were relative strangers to each other , different ettiquite to online dating I think

    I text her an hour after I got home yesterday evening just to say I enjoyed our date , she replied in kind

    as such im wondering if the following day is too soon

    When you text her and if she doesn't reply within 2 mins. Make sure you call her and if she doesn't answer facebook. Make sure she knows you LIKE her. Drive it him you like her. If she changes number and blocks you on facebook your doing the right job

    If it was last night I hope you text today and said you had a good night and want to do it again. See how she responds. No matter how good it feels you must resist hounding her. If she's a texter, don't reply straight away. Texting every 2 mins can become a right pain. Play it cool. It's a bad thing to start.

    Do text a small bit, just don't make a habit of it. Random cheeky funny texts will do. She won't care what your having for lunch or that someone is cleaning your windows.

    If she doesn't reply make sure you call her....to let her know that your phone isn't working because you don't seem to be getting her replies.

    like I said earlier , I text her an hour after our date ended to let her know I enjoyed the date , hence why I didn't text her today , was thinking of texting her tomorrow evening to see how her work day went and then ringing her Wednesday to ask her to cinema on Friday

    Jesus, just send her a text if you want to chat! If she likes you, she'll reply when she's ready. You can gauge from how often/quickly she replies whether or not to ease off or continue as you are.

    Leave the text and just call her on Wednesday, for no other reason than you seem to be mulling over it a bit.

    It is hard to know. I will usually let texts fester for a few hours or a day but sometimes this will make the girl think im not interested.

    Tis a shame really that women can be so judgemental about something like this. They wil tell you to 'just be yourself' as usual but this is bad advice, they just dont want you to thwart their internal "creep detector" so definitely dont be yourself.

    I am tired of the messing tbh and try not to think about the optimum reply rate for success anymore, so just text back when i feel like it keeping in the back of my mind that too frequent is bad. If they think i take too short or too long they can go away and f*ck themselves (even if that means I'l have to do the same)
