I have tried a months supply of these together with colon clense and fat burning patches to no avail. They claim one looses at least 6lbs per week while using this amazing product as advertised by Dr Oz on American tv. Has anyone else tried these and how did you find them. I am disgusted that I have thrown my money away.

They only really start to do their work when you supplement them with magic beans.

I take it you are taking the piss, they are widely advertised and have sold out in some places in the usa or so they claim, I heard about them on the joe duffy show last week but he never followed up on it.

There is no magic pill. Sorry to break the news to you. While these type of products may contribute to fat loss (a small percentage contribution) the only really route to fatloss is by increasing exercise and reducing food intake.

Dont do fad or crash diet as any weight loss will not be sustainable.

Change your lifestyle and the weight will come off. Slowly but surely. Unless you are extremely overweight then you should be losing between 1-3 lb per week.

You must be proud of your smartness? Give the op a chance.

People claim all kinds of things about all kinds of products, and the more fantastical claims are usually backed up by very dubious factual evidence. If it seems too good to be true it generally is; if weight loss was that easy no one would be overweight. You tried these things, they did not work for you so unfortunately you have thrown money away. (It really doesnt matter how others got on, you found them useless).

If you post up your normal daily intake you can get feedback here on how to improve your diet and lose weight, free. Also the stickies are full of solid information.

Yeah, so since something is hyped up, it must work?!

On the highlighted point, I've actually found that I've saved money since I've changed my diet. Even more reason to do it!

I should know better too OP but occasionally find myself victim of hype too. Did a course - sore stomach for the duration and no weight loss

    The zero effort magic diet.

Add 1 teaspoon of Psyllium Husk (http://www.myprotein.com/sports-nutrition/whole-psyllium-husks/10530061.html) to a pint of water and drink before you prepare each meal.

For the magic to happen you will also need to consume some lean protein and one portion of fruit or veg with each meal.

    Magic.

Raspberry Ketones have been around for a while.

They have a place but not as the sole basis for a weight loss regimen.

I have come across them as part of a fat loss product but one of a number of ingredients.

Yvonne how much did you pay for the Raspberry Ketones?

I just did a google 100g of powder is £13.49.

    According to Wikipedia:
A more recent study demonstrated that when mice were fed very high doses of raspberry ketone, up to 20 g/kg, 2% of body weight or 4761 times greater than estimated human intake, there was a statistically significant prevention of high-fat-diet-induced elevation in body weight.[12]
so if you weighed 70kg, you'd need to take 1400g (€188.46 worth) of raspberry ketones a day to replicate those conditions, not just a few pills.* Well I suppose if you were choking down 1.4kg of raspberry ketone powder every day it would reduce your appetite....

    * You'd also want to change yourself into a mouse, as animal studies do not translate automatically into the same effects in humans.

That would make for an interesting log.

Hi all, just want to warn those that are interested with the raspberry ketone.
Please stay away from the link above if you want to get a supply of this pills.

I have order mine since April and it was never shipped to me.

There will be someone call Jasmine Smith that will be in touch with you tell you that your product has been dispatched.

JUST STAY AWAY. This is not a reliable website and the people are not either. I also left a comment on their YOUTUBE channel but my comment was removed and now I am not even able to access it as I was banned.

Please once again do not buy and warned the others.

I ordered my @Free Samples of the Rasberry KEytones and the Xtreme Cleans and paid postage of 6.50 per item.

I tried them out and they may have stopped me gaining weight but I did not lose any with them but that is not the bad news. I just got my credit card bill with charges for postage as expected but also charges for the Bottle of Rasberry Keytones charged at €120.78 and the Xtreme Cleans @ €116.46. Talk about being robbed. Probably serves me right to think that a free sample really meant free sample.

Wow guys, sounds like a lot of animosity for people that have tried something to give them a little kick to help with some weight loss. We all are susceptible to falling for a bit of hype no matter how intelligent or educated we are. It is good to be open to new things and now to hang on to such a cynical attitude.

We live and learn. It wouldn't hurt to try to be a little more understanding of others.

What some call "Being open to new things" others call "Being gullible as hell". Sorry!

That certainly is one way of looking at it, but it is ONLY one way of looking at it...
I would not call myself gullible.
I knew when I tried it that it was probably a false claim but I thought since Dr Oz endorsed them I would try it and see for myself so I am not shocked or disappointed that it didn't live up to the hype. Sometimes something is worth trying.

    True.

However, a lot of the time things aren't worth trying. There is a lot of information in books, magazines, the internet etc. Doing a bit of research and finding out if something is worth trying first can really pay off.

If a Nigerian Prince sends me an email saying hes going to send me €10m if I just send him €5k first, saying "Well, you have to keep an open mind" and "Some things are worth trying" are only ways for me to get over the fact that i've been a bit of a sucker.

Chalk it down to a lesson learned. You'll be more careful next time.

Ah well that would just be silly now wouldn't it...

And yes what I did was without giving it much thought but lets not get all up in a tizzy about it. It's done.. Lesson learned. OOOPs

I just had the same experince with this company - http://www.raspberry-ketoneblast.com/ I have spent the last 45 mins on the phone to them, and came away with a 40GBP refund for each product, I am not happy with this amount, I wanted 100%. They failed to deliver until 11 days after the order was placed. I had no confirmation of order email nor dispatch email, so I had no reference to the T&C's to check what the next steps would be. The Customer Support person kept saying that it is all in the T&C's, and I had agreed to it, only after me saying that I since I was not sent the T&C's over email how was I supposed to be able to follow up etc that I got my refund offer. I have also cancelled my account (think i would have been charged more.. again unknown to me!) I am so annoyed about with myself for getting sucked into this, I am normally very vigilant with this sort of thing. Basically people...DO NOT ORDER THIS... if you do.. and if it hasnt arrived in 3-5 days ring them.. they will extend the trail date. Once they charge the 95GBP it is very hard to get anything back.
