Kia Cee'd heater blower motor

A neighbour asked me the other day if I would know why his heater blower wasn't working. I didn't have time to go across to his house and look at the car but I told him to try it at speed 4 and let me know if it worked.

He told me yesterday that it's working at speed 4 so I presumed it was the heater resistor. However after Googling I can't find a resistor for his car - it's a 2007 model.

Does anyone know if there is a resistor in this car or is there a relay? Also I presume the pollen filter is under the glove box? As he was saying the car is always fogging up and he never heard of a pollen filter so I doubt it's ever been changed!

I hope to look at the car tomorrow evening so if I need to find anything out let me know. I haven't a clue if it's a petrol or diesel btw.
