hi guys quick question. how are the payments calculated for the days that i dont work calculated e.g.is it if i work 3 days a week does that mean i get two fifths of the 188 which would be 75.2 euro in total for both days(35 euro roughly per day)???????

I work 3 days a week and I'm docked €21 for each of those days I work. So I lose €63 from the €188 and get €125 from the SW. This may vary from person to person as I think it's means tested.

As far as I know, if you work more than 3 days a week it's counted as full time work and you lose all SW payment. That's my take on it but you should enquire just incase it's wrong

Can someone explain to me again why working Casual Part time or Systematic Short time on JSB nets you €75 but on JSA nets you €125. ie. you get less using your stamps than someone with no stamps left

If you are on JSA, the amount deducted per day work is dependant on your income, so it is different for everyone

I don't think that's right. I'm on JSA and it's €21 per day, they have never asked how much I earn or the hours I work.

When you went casual working, your employer would have filled out a UP16 form detailing your wages and thats what the deduction is based on
