These watches always seem to have some massive reduction on them, I'd say their RRP is over inflated. They're probably not bad value just not worth anywhere near what the original price was.

Invicta are a cheap watch brand. They have cheap movements, cheaply made. But they are a bit quirky, and if cheap enough then sure why not. I just wouldn't expect the world from them.

If you want something nice in the <100 quid bracket, I'd look at some Orient watches. I have an Orient Mako, cost around 100 euro, and it's a beauty.

For £35, the one Davy linked is surely good value, no?

Can't really go wrong at that price.

But I just wanted people to realise, that despite the RRP of £139, it is not a £139 watch.

    Hi,

I bought two of these ( his and hers ) less than a year ago and both are now broken. One got dropped and all the number fell of the face and the strap has gone on the other. If you do buy one just be aware that they are huge.

The rrp is a made up price so they look like a deal but if you go to any reputable watch shop/site you will not see them.

Any chance you could link to a good site to buy one of them from please?

Buy cheap Chinese quartz unit, put a fancy face on it and more importantly a fancy name

sell for 500 pounds - 6 months later have a "huge sale" and sell for their realistic prices

These watches are crap. Lucky for me even though I had it 11 months Amazon took it back.

I bought mine from here. Cheap delivery, competitive pricing, and they have deals every once in a while:

I'm wearing my Orient Mako now. Great watch, and for an automatic, it keeps great time!

I bought one of these about 7 or 8 years ago and it still works fine so they aren't all crap.

For the price and range with a 3 year warranty I thought their was some decent options. The RRP is crazy but a lot have come down looking at the price history, and the amazon reviews are pretty good on them so cant be all bad.

I doubt they're included in the sale, but not all Invictas use cheap movements. Some use Seiko movements, and some use ETA movements, which you'd find in watches that cost many times more. Though personally, I'd just get a Seiko or a Steinhart.
