As far as I can remember on this kit from when I had one you won't get song names and covers when you are connected over Bluetooth. You need to be hard wired for that to work.

Do your mean wired using an aux cable, for some reason when I bought the kit (second hand) the I phone charger was not attached

Have you updated the software lately?

Yes the cable needs to be physically attached to the phone for the Album art to work. The parrot should come with cables that allow you to connect a USB key or iPhone. Do you not have these? What iPhone do you have?

Strange that you would be missing the iphone part as they are all on the one cable. If you trace the cable back to the Parrot box does it look like it has been snipped off? You can buy a replacement one if needed.

Mine never displayed artist or title when streaming via Bluetooth

    Until.....

I updated the software via USB. And now it does. Worth checking out parrots website to see if your version is up to date. Hope that helps

EDIT- also using an iPhone 4

Ah ok, Its about 4 years since I had mine so they must have included this in the newer software versions.

It's quite easy to update it. Just go onto parrots website and it will walk you through it. Basically you download the updater and the update onto a (preferably empty) USB stick. Then just hook the USB stick up via the USB connection on your kit and it should update itself. Hope that helps.

Edit- my own kit is donkey's years old too. Just keep updating the software

Honestly I am no electrical expert by any means so I wouldn't be sure about that. An alternative would be to use the USB cable with a standard I phone USB cable and hook it up that way perhaps? I'm sure someone with more knowledge will be able to advise you? Whereabouts are you? I know a good guy in Galway for that stuff

    Linky with instructions

Just remember that if you are on a very old version, you will most likely have to update twice. All there in the instructions
