Damage to carbon frame! No idea how?

When cleaning my bike after the TDC last Saturday, I discovered damage to the underside of the carbon frame, after I took the rear wheel off.
The damage is where the wheel runs close to the inside of the frame.
There are 3 marks where something had rubbed through the paint and and into the carbon but not gone through it, as well as numerous scratches.... (see photo)
I have check rear wheel for loose spokes or anything sticking out that could have done such damage ..and found nothing.
Has anyone any idea how this happened and will it affect the integrity of the frame?
    What should I do?
I've now wrapped insulating tape over the marked areas and will see if the damage continues during next few spins.

    Curious why you say that?
Do you think it's a fault with the bike?

Good guess where it came from by the way...

Looks like damage from stones or grit stuck to the tyre, doesn't look bad.

If you have any worries about integrity of frame ask him to have a quick look. The man kayaked around Ireland on a handbuilt Kayak, he is knowledgeable.

    Peace of mind.

Just looks superficial damage from wear and tear, some gravel getting sucked through the wheelarch.

There are 3 bad marks where something has rubbed through the paint and grooved the carbon frame.
As the bike is less than 6 months old and I've just fitted new GP 4000s tyres but I'm a tad concerned to have such wear n tear so soon?
    Is this normal?
And can anything be done to minimise this sort of damage? I've wrapped insulating tape around the area to help future damage.

Have you moved to bigger tyres? I switched from 23's to 25's GP4000s and they have less clearance - sand y gravel sometimes gets caught between the frame tyre and causes rubbing.

Looks like normal wear and tear to me.

The new Gps are the same size as the previous tyres...
Looks like it maybe just wear and tear but if it continues at that rate after just 5 months, I'll be in trouble!!
Might just drop it into my LBS and get it checked out for pease of mind.
    Thanks guys..
