True.but if your working in morning you'd drop them on the way.there is not always time for some people to manage it.

The kind of parents who use their children as trophies to bring meaning to their own lives. You may think your child is wonderful, gorgeous, amazing, special, unique, and whatever else, but nobody else truly thinks that about your child.

These are generally the ones who get very upset and offended when their children aren't invited to accompany them to a wedding. They're out of their comfort zone then...

People call their kids Tarquin these days? WTF.

Parents who think it's ok to bring their sick offspring to parties/family gatherings and not inform the other parents that their child is riddled with disease until they're already there and polluting the place with their germs. My two year old has spent a week horrendously ill with a stomach bug because of this exact thing happening. I then ended up catching it from him and almost wound up in hospital. If my kid was sick or had been sick in the previous days, I'd just not bring him. Simple as that.

Those types of parents drive me fckin insane. This is one of my major pet hates. You never know if somebody attending said party / family gathering has a low immune system due to an existing illness (such as cancer, etc) and then these selfish gits bring their sick children along, spreading their germs all over the shop and causing havoc to everybody else. Nobody else should be subjected to their fckin germs  I actually know someone (call them Friend A) who got really really offended before because they were asked not to visit a friend's house (Friend B) (who had a young baby) as Friend A's kid was only just getting over chicken pox and A was furious at B for requesting they not call in with their kid!!

Why do parents INSIST on bringing their child right up to the front gates of a school, often causing an obstruction with their car as traffic behind them have to swerve, wait and generally get p!ssed off by parents who absolutely have to 100% almost bring their little darlings almost to their desk, and couldnt bear to leave them off a stop earlier so as not to hold up traffic. No wonder so many kids are fat, they walk nowhere.

And on that point, why do sooo many parents drive their kids to school when school is less than a mile away? Whats wrong with saying to them "No, you can walk, its better for your health and probably quicker than me getting you in there, joining rush hour traffic and risking a crash just for the sake of a 20 minute walk"? The amount of kids (8-16) i see being driven EVERY SINGLE DAY TO AND FROM SCHOOL, rain hail or shine, is shocking. Any parents out there who do this care to shine a light on why?

Agree 100%. This is such a bug bear of mine!!

Even if its a longer walk and you have pre-schoolers, put them on bikes or flickers.

No wonder we're a nation of lazy fatties who drive to the gym /Slimming Workd /Weight Watchers /TRX...

My mam and dad smoked regaularly in front of all my 6 bros and sisters and only me smokes now so your argument is a load of ****e!

And if they grow up and want to smoke, its their life, they can do what they like

No that actually make sense, smoking was normalised for you growing up so you can't see the harm in doing it in front of your kids.

He wouldn't see harm if it were flashing in a 10ft neon sign in front of him.

That is nonsense, theirs no proof that kids are in any more danger now than they were 30 or 40 years ago, in fact with all the safety procedures in place they are probably safer and it's scare mongering to think theirs child abusers and kidnappers around every corner, if parents let their kids walk to school in groups of 3 or more they might not be the fat little ****ers we see everywhere

Ah yeah it's not as if loads of kids weren't abused 30 and 40 years ago, oh wait a minute....

I never seen it as normal, still dont see it as normal!

My Dad is a big gambler and has backed horses/watched horses every day since I can remember. Does this mean Im also more likely to gamble?

The hypocrites. Why would you tell your child not to swear or shout but you are doing just that?

They learn **** all at school anyway to be fair. Better off getting out about the country than stuck in a classroom with some teacher who cant wait till the bell goes

As a teacher, this kind of parents pisses me off.

Where did I say they weren't ? And you can be sure that their are plenty kids getting abused even today that won't come out for years to come, despite all the safety procedures

My kids never once breath in my 2nd hand smoke, as Ive previously said when their inside Im outside smoking, or as far away as possible from them if we are all outside!

What exactly is your point? That if my kids see me smoking, they are 3 times more likely to smoke? Fair enough if you think that but your wrong!

The ones who use their kids for special treatment i.e. on planes. They want to skip queues, make people move seats to accommodate them etc. It's weird that most malls now have "mother and child parking" next to the disabled parking spots

The ones who don't stop their kids causing commotion in public. Such as shouting or running into people. I was in a nice enough restaurant on a saturday around 9.30pm and a table with 2 babies, one screaming came in. Surely that's too late for a baby?

It makes my blood boil to see parents crossing the road with a buggy, without the green man when a car is coming. Is the 20 second wait not worth your kids life?

Absolutely, Im in favour of the death sentence and if any of my kids were a drug dealer or rapist, Id support them to be killed

    Great parent.

Why is it stupid though? A huge number of points about kids being left run riot in pubs, supermarkets, death wish mothers who push buggies into roads etc etc are all 100% true.

Whoops, that's what I meant by stupid. Like, it's just filled with tales of stupidity. :p

You think there's something wrong with a parent asking if another grown-up could move so they can sit beside and look after their child on a flight?

Sometimes. If someone pays to book a certain seat and is asked to give it up for some middle seat or something, it puts that person in an awkward situation.
If you have a young child and wish to sit with it then either pay the couple of euros to book assigned seats or ring the airline and ask if they can accommodate

As far as i know, most airlines allow you to pick seats when booking. unless you book extremely late, there are always seats together which you can chose

Not to mention those who take their kid who is just getting over chickenpox into a hospital to visit other sick people. Seriously, I saw this happen a few years ago when I was in hospital with a dying parent. The mother was visiting the patient next to us and just mentioned it casually. I've never had it and spent the next week worried that I would come down it and be unable to go to the funeral. Didn't happen thankfully.

Where do I start with that?

    Brilliant!!

"Won't sleep in his own bed / Use the toilet (we must get around to toilet training him one of these days) / He's a divil for refusing to share / He's a divil for biting/hitting other children" etc.
