Calf missing this am. Looking since 8am and no sign. Drove every road for a good 40 mins too. River in flood here so unless the worst has happened :(

water too dirty to see into it properly for a body.

Rang a few lads so maybe he will turn up yet.

Yeah it's strange. No tracks on banks of river or gaps in any fences. It's like he just vanished no a clue or sign. Supposed to head off with the young lass today and all. Just heading now but messed up the day a little. SNAFU

Any chance he could be lying in a shed in the yard. Happened here a few years ago and found the missing one lying between some round bales of straw.
    Hope you find him.

Checked everywhere possible I could think of. Lots of ditches here so unless he is tucked tight into one with a sore leg or something but it's unusual for one to be away from the group as they are nearly always waiting by the troughs in the mornings.

Is he a black angus? Give us a description of him Reggie, just in case he has strayed. You wouldn't want any sort of chancer taking him further afield!

That's my thoughts as it was fairly rough last night here with alot of rain. Thought he might have tucked into a ditch and pushed through

Bought my last 2 cars in England a few years ago. No point even looking now as a euro will only buy approx 0.74 pence

Firstly - I think that it is extremely inappropriate to have it at the end of a very distressing article.
Secondly - No, I don't think that children's farm toys play down the risk of an accident.

Exactly. The two shouldn't have been put together. It just tries to make people feel guilty for buying toy tractors for their kids after reading that and then vote on it. I don't even like talking about anything like that. Not good.:(

Have spent most of the day re-washing, drying and ironing "summer" clothes for eldest in preparation for his departure.
I detest house work with a vengeance.
